INFITT is a global non-profit non-govt. organization devoted to promoting Tamil computing. Officially registered as NPO in California, USA.  INFITT objective is to "Help develop Tamil IT and associated standards", "Provide tech. forums and annual meets/ conferences for Tamil IT developer community", "Serve as a key link between regional interest groups, national governmental agencies", "Provide technical expertise support to MNCs and standardization agencies" & "Educate/increase awareness of public to advances, attract younger talents by organizing Tamil IT Workshops"

13 ஆவது உலகத் தமிழிணைய மாநாடு புதுச்சேரியில் புதுவை அரசின் பேராதரவோடும் பல கல்வி நிறுவனங்களின் துணையோடும் செப்டம்பர் 19, 20 மற்றும் 21ம் தேதிகளில் நடத்த முடிவு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளதை அறிவீர்கள். மாநாட்டை நடத்துமிடம் முடிவுசெய்தபின், முதல்வேலை மாநாட்டின் அடிப்படை உள்ளுறை (theme) என்னவென்று தீர்மானிப்பது தான்.

International Tamil Internet Conference 2014

International Forum for Information Technology (INFITT) is pleased to announce that the 13th International Tamil Internet Conference, TI-2014 will be held in Pondicherry,India  during September 19-21, 2014.This conference jointly organized by INFITT and Puthuvai Tamil Sangam. INFITT has hosted  nine conferences in the USA, Singapore, Malaysia, Germany and India in collaboration with major universities such as University of California at Berkeley, University of Pennsylvania, Cologne University, National University of Singapore ,University Of Malaya, Annamalai University and in Tamil Nadu has organized three conferences with the full support of the Government of Tamil Nadu.
